Compassionate Counseling for You

I love my job. Which is a good thing, since I've been doing this for over 25 years. I have worked in community mental health, group private practice, solo private practice, and remote clinical settings, and have learned so much from each of these settings. Like many of my colleagues, I was resistant to moving sessions to an online platform. However, since forced to change by the 2020 pandemic, I have been amazed at the resilience and adaptability of the therapeutic process to respond to the changing needs of the human condition.

I approach therapy from an eclectic and humanistic perspective, centering my clients, as I respect that each of us has a unique and valuable light to shine in this world.

I currently reside in Washington State with my husband. I have spent time living and/or serving clients in each of the states in which I am currently licensed. When not working, I enjoy taking walks, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family.
